Various videos from our research works.

Synthesis of Core/Shell QDs!

Synthesis of Blue Quantum Dots!

Synthesis of CdSe Quantum Dots!

Oleic Acid Purification- this is probably one of our most important contributions.

Synthesis of alkylphosphonic acids. These chemicals are the best for making high quality quantum dots.

Water solubilization of Quantum Dots. Because what good is a bright fluorophore if it doesn’t “do” anything?

Absorption of light by a hydrogen atom. This video demonstrates that absorption of light is not instantaneous. Great for advanced undergraduates or new grads in Physical Chemistry.

Stimulated emission of light. A time varying electric field forces an excited hydrogen atom to return to the ground state.
